Bill Pearson Heads the UK miniature unit at Shepperton Studios and I am one of four lucky Seniors on the team. One of the most enjoyable films Ive worked on, not only in terms of the subject matter, which was exciting to the max, but also the crew, so the vibe was good. I also got to go to Prague to nurse-maid the satellite on the stage.Not sure about the concept....still waiting to be involved in something that raises the level of the genre...Like 2001...Blade Runner....Matrix etc...But it was great to be involved in a popular film (as it turned out to be), which had a pretty cool look to it as well. The Satellite is the first miniature you see in the movie and it opens the film as well. Im particularly proud to have been the senior "in charge" of that, even though you only see 50% of it, its up there on the screen. CLICK THIS LINK TO SEE TRAILER |
