MOON ( click here to see the trailer) I'm always happy when I get a call from Bill Pearson to go down south and work on a movie, but even more so when I know it is a low budget - sorry, independant film. I'm just going to concentrate on my modelmaking experience on MOON. If this makes it sound like I did a lot on moon, I'm sorry. But I did. Theres nothing I'm saying here that can be refuted by anyone, no BS. I'm not going to say I made something if I didnt make it! - I'm just omitting to write about the stuff I didnt do. Suffice it to say, the rest of the team were: John Lee, Chris Hayes (senior Modelmakers) Ron Hone and Richard St Clair. Bill was the Model Unit supervisor, all of which produced the highest standard of work. I look back at moon and can say that this was the most productive period of my working career. I thought my 'fast days' were behind me, maybe they are, so I made sure the detail was there by sticking in every hour available (well, I lived in digs about 10 minutes away from the studios and have no family to speak of, so why not?) Working on MOON was hugely enjoyable and satisfying and I realize how priviledged I was to have worked on, what is turning out to be, a great film. I am Grateful to Bill the for giving me the opportunity to contribute creatively, albeit in a small way, and putting my name forward for a decent credit. MODELSHOP SUPERVISOR. |
