Roverlab Build These photos show Bill Pearsons sketch made over 40 years ago, when he was at college in Kingston. Also made around that time is the small maquette (5 photos) and then the build up from the moving gear Bill had made in the form of the wheels, suspension and a perspex plate, from which I could begin making the main body using 5mm thick foamex. Styrene cladding in places and my choice of details in many places. You can see the various design changes on the wheel hubs, before I stayed on a flip down step idea. Originally made for a CAPTAIN SCARLET movie, but it lost out to CGI in the end. Click on thumbnails to see a larger image and then the back button to return here.
