The original thumbnail is a good starting point for me. I
have been told I can let my creative juices flow, so I dont have to stick
religiously to this shape. |
Looks like I completely disregarded the shape |
I always work best (fastest anyway) when Im not following
a drawing to the letter |
I do have plans to twist the edges using heat and a air of
pliars |
Any protruding girders wil also get the heat treatment |
Achieving that naturalistic look is always the goal |
I gave the piece some depth too. |
The sunlight highlights the heat affected edges. Heat might
have been a factor in its separation anyway for all we know (an explosion
say) |
The first colours, now graphics |
The finished piece |
Space wreckage is a favourite to make. You cant really go
wrong. |
Im pleased with it and the client is pleased with it. job
done. |
